COR LIFE
To provide counseling and educational programs through the use of HORSES to both individuals and groups.  Our organization specializes in addiction recovery and prevention with an emphasis on the impact of trauma, the neuroscience of human/horse brain development and the role relationship plays in the recovery and healing of individuals.  We empower the broken hearted with choices that will put them on the courageous path of rebuilding their lives and living and loving from a place of wholeheartedness.  It is our belief that we are all hardwired for connection, and it is only through presenting our authentic, imperfect selves to the world that we are able to come truly alive, genuinely connect and then go on to live from a place of purpose.

DEMENTIA CARE ADVOCATES
To provide compassionate training and support for those with dementia and their family caregivers, to sponsor dementia training classes and/or symposiums for professional caregivers, to educate the community about the signs and symptoms of dementia and provide referral to local medical practitioners, and to provide employee training for area businesses.

ENHANCED HORIZONS (HILL COUNTRY YOUTH RANCH)
To provide an educational and transitional living program for foster youth, homeless and at-risk young adults, ages 18-24.  Our onsite school offers a free, online accredited high school credit recovery and diploma program for residents and community youth.  Our transitional living program offers safe, secure and affordable housing in a supportive learning environment.  Our program includes a Young Mother’s Home for young mothers (ages 18-24) with up to two children.  Through case management, Enhanced Horizons works with residents to develop individualized transitional living plans, a goal-driven plan of support and services.  Housing, independent living skills, career-vocational training and apprenticeships, educational support and transportation are included in our program.  Our program motto is—Come, grow and Go!
Eligibility:  Our educational program is open EH residents and community students, ages 18-24.  Our transitional living program is offered to former foster, homeless or at-risk youth, ages 18-24.  The maximum time in our program is 24 months.

HILL COUNTRY ALLIANCE AGAINST TRAFFICKING (HCAAT)
To provide community awareness of and information on human trafficking.  Hill Country Alliance Against Trafficking is a Hill Country community-wide voluntary coalition in which participants represent a variety of community-based organizations & resources that offer services to individuals who are victims of human.  HCAAT’s primary interests revolve around community awareness and provision of information relating to prevention, recognition, and intervention to prevent sex trafficking and/or recognize & rescue victims.  HCAAT’s aim centers around filling informational needs of Hill Country residents, service providers & identification of gaps in resources in the local area.

HILL COUNTRY PREPPERS
To provide training in self-reliance and self-sufficiency in an uncertain world. Training is provided in how to prepare for emergencies, disasters and everyday dramas to lessen dependence on others unnecessarily.  Monthly classes cover first aid, self-defense, food and water storage, go bags, emergency planning, alternate power, rainwater catchment, financial security and other related topics.
Stephen Lehman is available to address organizations and groups about Emergency Preparedness.
Eligibility:  The monthly classes & meetings are open to the public.  $1 is charged for handout at the door to cover printing costs, but other literature is free for the taking.

LIVING WORD BIBLE SCHOOL
To provide a 2-year Bible and ministry training school.  The school is comprised of a spring and fall semester each year and covers Systematic Theology, Old Testament and New Testament Survey, Discipleship, Roles of Minister, and hands-on training in various areas of service.

SAN ANTONIO COUNCIL ON ALCOHOL AND DRUG AWARENESS (SACADA)
HILL COUNTRY COUNCIL ON ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE (HCCADA)

To provide prevention programs and services, education and outpatient treatment & recovery support for Bandera, Bexar, Kendall & Kerr Counties.  Most substance use prevention services are free of charge & include youth prevention programs taught in elementary, middle, & high schools; adult & community prevention presentations; & fun, creative activities for school districts, civic & parent organizations, & senior centers.  We can provide presentations on stress relief, bullying, communication skills & journaling.  We also provide mental health awareness training &, for a fee, alcohol & drug assessments.  Education services include court ordered classes like the Drug Offender Education Program, DWI Education and DWI Intervention, referral services, Victim’s Impact Panel, Alcohol Awareness/Minor in Possession courses, & tobacco counseling & education.  HCCADA’s Kerrville office also conducts 5-Panel Hair Follicle drug tests.  Outpatient treatment & recovery services include individual & group counseling.  Parent Awareness & Drug Risk Education (PADRE), & recovery support services.

SAN ANTONIO FOOD BANK
To fight hunger in Southwest Texas through Food for Today—immediate food assistance, Hope/CSFP programs providing monthly food boxes for seniors, and Amazon delivery—sign up for food delivery service. Federal benefit assistance helps clients apply for Medicaid, WIC, TANF, Healthy Texas Women, SNAP, and food stamps.  A referral partner program is provided to assist in acquiring outside needs—clothing, hygiene, medical equipment, diapers, pads, & prenatal needs. The SAFB partners with more than 500 client service agencies to help feed the hungry throughout 29 counties. 
Eligibility:  Anyone can sign up for food assistance in San Antonio.  We do not go by income. You may register for food assistance every 2 weeks

THE PARENTING RESOURCE CENTER
To provide education that teaches responsibility and love without breaking the child’s spirit.  Plus, we help provide essentials needed for babies and toddlers.  We offer more than 250 unique and private classes:  prenatal care, labor & delivery, parenting (including effective discipline), and Bible studies.  With each FREE class that a parent participates in, he/she will earn Baby Bucks that are redeemable in our boutique, Sara Elizabeth’s Closet.  Items such as diapers, car seats, strollers, play pens, cribs & mattresses, formula & baby food, and limited nursing items can be purchased with Baby Bucks.  Our Earn While You Learn program helps mothers and fathers be the best parents they can be.  CPS parenting class program is also available at no charge. The Center does NOT provide rental assistance, lodging, gift cards, or utilities assistance.
Eligibility: Parents with children up to 12 years of age; all ages of men and women wanting to EARN WHILE THEY LEARN; twice a week classes can be taken.  Services are FREE of charge.

To assist, at a basic level, individuals looking for new employment, provide help creating a resume and completing an application.  Aid is given to employers looking to recruit individuals for new and existing positions.  For qualifying customers who are suitable, training assistance is provided in the areas that are considered in demand (such as LVN, paralegal, truck driving, and many others.
Eligibility:  Center is open to everyone seeking employment.  For training services—2 different ways one can qualify—one is through income levels and the other is through UI eligibility and in both cases the person must be 18 years old or older.
