BCFS HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, KERRVILLE
To provide youth transitioning out of foster care, and other at-risk youth and young adults (ages 13-25), case management, training, and mentoring.  To provide parenting classes and support groups to families of children ages 3-17. To provide training and assistance with finding and maintaining employment.  To provide affordable housing with transitional living support.  We also provide a computer lab with internet access.  All services are free.

TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION-ALAMO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT-WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
To provide information about programs that may fund training for eligible individuals, about how to overcome some of the life challenges that may affect their ability to work, and about child care financial help and other dependent-care options.  Help is provided for finding local transportation options, food and housing assistance, and other community services.  Workforce Solutions serves Bandera, Kerr, Kendall, and Gillespie counties.

TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION – VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION SERVICES
To provide vocational rehabilitation (VR) services to people with disabilities to help them prepare for, find, keep and advance in competitive integrated employment.  Texas Workforce Solutions-Vocational Rehabilitation Services (TWS-VRS) delivers these services in Texas.  You may be eligible for services, depending upon how your disability interferes with work.  TWS-VRS counselors will work with you to ensure that you have the opportunity to make informed choices when you select an employment goal, services and service providers that will help you reach your goal.  Services might include:  addressing the impediments to employment or disabilities, treatment of the impediments/disabilities, job search assistance, vocational training, career exploration, or job placement services.
Eligibility:  Does the individual have a disability or impediment to employment/school?  The individual must also have current work authorization documents showing they are able to legally work in the United States.

WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
To assist, at a basic level, individuals looking for new employment, provide help creating a resume and completing an application.  Aid is given to employers looking to recruit individuals for new and existing positions.  For qualifying customers who are suitable, training assistance is provided in the areas that are considered in demand (such as LVN, paralegal, truck driving, and many others.
Eligibility:  Center is open to everyone seeking employment.  For training services—2 different ways one can qualify—one is through income levels and the other is through UI eligibility and in both cases the person must be 18 years old or older.
